The OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) collects aid flows at activity level based on a standard methodology and agreed definitions. Aid to Education is broken down into sub-sectors by level.

Sector specific education activities are to be included in the respective sectors, either in a specific education code such as Agricultural education or in a general code such as Communications policy/administrative management.
