The start of 2020 brought an unprecedented global challenge: the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), classed by the WHO as a global pandemic. Despite this challenging period, activities envisaged under the EU4Environment Work plans have been implemented.
On 25 June 2020, the EU4Environment Implementing Partners, jointly with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, European Commission and EU Delegation in Belarus, held a virtual consultation.
The objectives of the meeting were to:
Participants included National Focal Points from the the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, National Action Coordinators, representatives of the European Commission (DG NEAR, DG ENV and DG CLIMA), EU Delegation in Belarus and the Implementing Partners (OECD, UNEP, UNECE and UNIDO).

About the EU4Environment Action
Funded by the European Union, the EU4Environment Action aims to preserve and better use the natural capital, increase people’s environmental well-being and stimulate economic growth in six Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
