Pilot Africa Academy Programme
 

In June 2017, together with Kenya, Italy and Germany, the OECD launched a pilot programme on tax and financial crime investigation. Representatives from the 4 partners signed a Declaration of Intent which seeks to strengthen the capacity of tax and financial crime investigators in tackling illicit financial flows.

Competition policy in the digital age

The combination of big data with technologically advanced tools, such as pricing algorithms, is changing the competitive landscape in many markets. This paper looks at whether algorithms can make tacit collusion easier and discusses some of the challenges they present for both competition law enforcement and market regulation.

 
Upcoming events
20 years of the Anti-Bribery Convention

This event on 12 December 2017 will focus on the impact of the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention 20 years on, the impact of the Convention on major emerging economies not yet party to the Convention, and the detection of foreign bribery.
Targeting Criminal Activities at Sea

The Green Growth and Sustainable Development Forum (Nov. 21 & 22) will dedicate an entire session to criminal activity at sea, which includes illegal unreported unregulated fishing, corruption, money laundering and tax fraud. Find out more about the Forum and register.

The 5th edition of this Forum will be held on 7-8 November 2017, in London. This event will provide a unique opportunity to come together and discuss the global response to the changing nature of tax crimes and other financial crimes.
