This document is a case study report presenting the results of the application of the self-assessment framework of the OECD ICOM Guide for Local Governments, Communities and Museums in Poland, undertaken with the support of Ministry of Investment and Economic Development and in co-operation with ICOM and ICOM Poland National Committee.

The Guide was developed by the OECD’s Local Economic and Employment Development Programme (LEED) and the International Council of Museums (ICOM) to inform and support policy makers and the museum community in maximising the impact of culture and heritage on local development.

The Summer Academy, a three-year project 2018-2020, provides training for policy makers and representatives of cultural and creative industries (CCIs). The second edition took place on 16-20 June 2019 in Trento and Bolzano, Italy.

The OECD Global Forum on Productivity (GFP) and the Spatial Productivity Lab (SPL) at the OECD Trento Centre for Local Development, in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Bolzano and the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, will organise a workshop on Spatial Dimensions of Productivity on 28-29 March 2019 in Bolzano, Italy.
