This workshop is organised by the Urban Research Centre, University of Western Sydney within the framework of the OECD LEED project on local economic strategies for shrinking and ageing labour markets
The 3rd Working Communities International Congress is hosted by the National Employment Services Association (NESA), the peak body for providers of Australian employment services, in partnership with the OECD LEED Programme. The Congress will explore global and local perspectives on policy and innovations that get communities working.

This book defines the major trends and challenges facing tourism in the next decade – from globalisation to environmental issues. Tourism data from 42 countries are presented and analysed including all OECD countries, and fast-growing tourism centres such as Brazil, Chile, China and India.
The rapidly developing Southeast Asia region is confronted with significant labour market challenges. This initiative aims to address the issues of employment and skills, especially through an interaction platform for members.
This project focuses on the adjustments required to ensure labour markets comply with the demands of a greener economy (adaptation) as well as on the expansion of good quality green jobs as an opportunity to develop lower-carbon activities (mitigation).
