Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Brussels on Thursday 13th June to launch the 2013 OECD International Migration Outlook.
The Report addresses recent trends in international migration flows and migration policies as well as the impact of the economic crisis on the employment situation of immigrants. It also highlights major changes in policies to support the integration of immigrants and their children, includes a first-time comparative analysis of the fiscal impact of immigration in OECD countries and provides an overview of discrimination against immigrants and their children in OECD countries. It is supported by succinct country-specific notes and statistics.
During his visit to Brussels, the Secretary-General will also hold bilateral meetings with Officials of the European Union.
