During his official visit to Belgium, OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría met with the following representatives of the Belgian government:

• His Majesty King Albert II of Belgium
• His Royal Highness Prince Philippe of Belgium
• Mr. Guy VERHOFSTADT, Prime Minister
• Mr. Armand DE DECKER, Minister for Development and Co-operation
• Mr. Karel DE GUCHT, Minister for Foreign Affairs
• Ms. Marie ARENA, Minister-President of the French Community of Belgium
• Elio DI RUPO, Minister-President of the Walloon Region
• Mr. Yves LETERME, Minister-President of the Flemish Government
• Mr. Frank VANDENBROUCKE, Deputy Minister-President and Minister of Work, Education and Training, Flemish Government
• Mr. Herman DE CROO, President of the Chamber of Representatives

He also met with the following representatives of international and non-government organisations:

• Mr. José Manuel BARROSO, President of the European Commission
• Mr. Jaap DE HOOP SCHEFFER, Secretary-General of NATO

Additionnally, Mr Gurría's speaking engagements during the visit included:

• The opening address to a conference on "Improving Governance and Fighting Corruption: New Frontiers in Public-Private Partnerships", hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and presided by H.R.H. Prince Philippe of Belgium. Following the meeting, there will be a joint press conference with Mr. Paul WOLFOWITZ, Mr. Karel DE GUCHT and Mr. Armand DE DECKER.
• A presentation of the OECD Economic Survey of Belgium during a joint press conference with the Prime Minister.
