The OECD Standard Codes for the Official Testing of Agricultural and Forestry Tractors allow participating countries to perform tractor tests according to harmonised procedures, and to obtain OECD official approvals which facilitate international trade.

Annual Meeting of the OECD Tractor Codes

25-26 February 2020   Paris, France

This meeting gathered experts from around the world to exchange best practice and to see demonstrations of the OECD Tractor Codes in action. 

Technical Working Group Meeting of the OECD Tractor Codes

 4-5 June 2020   remote meeting

Following the measures taken worldwide to prevent spreading of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, the TWG meeting in Prague is cancelled.

It is replaced by a remote meeting at the same dates.

Sub Working Group Meetings of the OECD Tractor Codes

 12-13 May 2020   remote meeting

This meeting will address electric Tractors and tractor electrical power off-boarding.

 18-20 May 2020   remote meeting

This meeting will address 'Agricultural robots' (tractors, machinery).

The OECD and tractor safety

Participation

The OECD Tractor Codes are open to OECD member and non-member countries. Twenty-seven countries adhere, including : Brazil, China, India, the Russian Federation and Serbia.

The OECD also works with the  UN and other international organisations to extend safety and environmental standards to countries in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
