Improving farm tractor safety standards worldwide

Tractors have revolutionised agriculture around the world and are critical to farm productivity. However, tractor accidents are a frequent cause of deaths and serious injuries on farms.

The OECD system of tests and codes maintain tractor safety and performance standards. Already established across 26 countries, they are being extended throughout Latin America, Asia and Africa.

International Standards for Fruit and Vegetables

OECD is the main worldwide reference for the certification and standardisation of seeds, agricultural and forestry tractors, forest reproductive material, and fruit and vegetables.

This series of brochures comprises explanatory notes and illustrations to facilitate the consistent interpretation of standards for fruit and vegetables. Recent brochures feature broccoli, watermelons, onions, apples, citrus fruits, hazelnuts, asparagus and mangoes.
