The Data & Statistics section offers access to the SWAC's regional database on West African key issues. It compiles a series of West-Africa relevant data and indicators from various sources. 


‌ SMART Statistical Mapping and Analytical Regional Tool (SMART)

SMART allows users to generate customised maps and charts from a selection of indicators for all West African countries and for the region as a whole. This interactive mapping tool will be available at the end of March 2013.

The Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century (PARIS21) aims to promote the better use and production of statistics throughout the developing world. Since its establishment in 1999, PARIS21 has developed a worldwide network of statisticians, policy makers, analysts, and development practitioners committed to evidence-based decision making. Its Secretariat, hosted within the OECD Development Co-operation Directorate, facilitates various capacity-building workshops in Africa.


‌ aidflows Aidflows

This joint AfDB, OECD and World Bank mapping tool allows to visualize how much development aid is provided and received around the world. Users can select individual donors (providing the aid) and beneficiaries (receiving the aid) to track the sources and uses of aid funding.


‌  International Development Statistics Database

QWIDS (Query Wizard for International Development Statistics) pulls data from OECD.Stat and offers an intuitive interface for users less familiar with the structure and content of the DAC and CRS databases.
