Remittances to West African Countries
According to recent World Bank forecasts, remittances to developing countries will decrease by between 5 and 8% (USD 305 billion to USD 280–290 billion) between 2008 and 2009. Flows to sub-Saharan Africa could also decrease by about 5% to USD 19 billion in 2009.
