On 8 October, the Secretary General, Angel Gurría, visited Denmark to participate in the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) and met with high level representatives of the Danish government.
The Secretary-General will present in Tallinn the OECD Economic Review of Estonia, at a joint press Conference with Mr. Andrus Ansip, Prime Minister of Estonia.
On the occasion of his official visit to Jakarta, Angel Gurría presented the OECD Economic Survey of Indonesia and the OECD Regulatory Reform Review of Indonesia. He also met with key government officials.
During his visit to Rome, Mr. Angel Gurría attended the “International Conference on Structural Reforms in Italy”. The aim of the Conference was to take stock of structural reforms recently adopted in Italy and to identify further steps to promote competitiveness, growth and employment while ensuring social cohesion.
During his visit China, Angel Gurría attended the Global Value Chains in the 21st Century conference, organised jointly by the OECD, UNCTAD, and the WTO in partnership with China's Ministry of Commerce. The Secretary-General also met with several high level representatives of the Chinese government and business.
On the occasion of his official visit to London, Angel Gurría will give a lecture on the New Approaches to Economic Challenges at the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) and will meet with key government officials.
On the occasion of his visit to Tunis, Angel Gurría will attend the OECD/ADB Conference on Promoting Youth Employment and will meet with government representatives.
Secretary-General Angel Gurría joined world leaders at the G20 Mexican Presidency's Leaders' Summit held in Los Cabos.
On the occasion of his official visit, Angel Gurría will meet with government representatives including Mr. Shimon Peres, President of Israel and Mr. Benyamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister.
On the occasion of his visit to Seoul, Angel Gurría will present the OECD economic survey of Korea and will meet with government and business representatives.
