    Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Mexico from 14 to 16 April 2014, to attend and deliver remarks at the First High Level Meeting of the Global Partnership for Effective Development Co-operation. He also met with several senior officials and delivered a speech at the OECD Seminar on Health Policies in Mexico.

    Mr. Angel Gurría was in Japan from 6 to 10 April 2014 to commemorate the country’s 50th anniversary of membership of the Organisation. The OECD Secretary-General was received in Audience by Crown Prince Naruhito, and held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Abe, to whom he presented the report “OECD Better Policies Japan - Advancing the Third Arrow for a Resilient Economy and Inclusive Growth”.

While in Washington, Mr. Gurría also held bilateral meetings with several US senior officials.

    Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, will be in Spain on Tuesday 1 April 2014 to present the Public Governance Review of Spain with Ms. Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría, Vice President of the Spanish Government, and Mr. Cristobal Montoro, Minister of Budget and Public Administration. Mr. Gurría will hold bilateral meetings with the Spanish authorities during his visit.
