Secretary-General at the International Transport Forum Annual Summit (Leipzig, 22nd May 2013)

At the Summit, Mr. Gurría will deliver remarks and participate in a Ministers’ Roundtable on "Attracting New Sources of Private Finance to Transport Infrastructure". He will also present an OECD Transport Working Paper: “Mobilising Private Investment in Sustainable Transport: the Case of Land-Based Passenger Transport Infrastructure”.

Secretary-General’s visit to Italy (Rome, Thursday 2nd May 2013)

The OECD Secretary-General will be in Rome on Thursday 2nd May to present the 2013 OECD Economic Survey of Italy with Fabrizio Saccomanni, Minister of Economy and Finance. Mr. Angel Gurría will also meet with several high level officials, including Mr. Letta and Mr. Enrico Giovannini, Minister for Labour and Social Policy.

Russia’s Shuvalov visits OECD

The Russian Federation’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Igor Shuvalov, visited the OECD today. He addressed the OECD Council and had a two-hour dialogue on the ongoing accession of Russia to the OECD with Member countries’ Ambassadors.

Secretary General’s Official visit to Japan (Tokyo, 22nd - 24th April 2013)

OECD Secretary-General will visit Japan on 22-24 April to launch the Economic Survey of Japan. During his stay in Tokyo, Mr. Gurría will also meet government officials and representatives from the business and labour communities amongst others.

Visit of the Secretary-General to Washington (18th - 20th April 2013)

The Secretary-General of the OECD, Mr. Angel Gurría, will be in Washington to attend the International Monetary Fund / World Bank Spring Meetings, as well as the G20 meetings of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors.

Official visit of the Slovakian Prime Minister (11th April 2013)

The Secretary-General, Mr. Angel Gurría, will be on an official visit to Oslo on Monday 8th May 2013, to meet with the Norwegian Government, prepare the meeting of the OECD Council at Ministerial Level on 29th - 30th May 2013 (that will be chaired by Norway) and participate in the 9th ILO European Regional Meeting.

Secretary-General’s official visit to China (21st - 26th March 2013)

The Secretary-General, Mr. Angel Gurría, was in Beijing to attend the China Development Forum, to present the third OECD economic survey of China and to hold bilateral meetings with key representatives of China's authorities, business and academic world.

Secretary-General at the International Summit on the Teaching Profession (The Netherlands, 13th - 14th March 2013)

The Secretary-General, Mr. Angel Gurría, will visit The Netherlands on 13th and 14th of March 2013, to attend the 2013 International Summit on the Teaching Profession. He will also go to The Hague and hold a bilateral meeting with Mr. Jeroen Dijsselbloem, Finance Minister.
