Colette Morris is the Advisor to the Chief of Staff. Her role involves having strategic oversight of the Chief of Staff's engagements, speeches, briefings, and overseas missions, while covering policy issues including gender equality, employment and social affairs, education, and inclusive growth.
Prior to joining the OECD, Colette spent eight years in the UK Civil Service in international economic policy, most recently as Head of Sanctions and Counter-Terrorist Financing in Her Majesty’s Treasury. She served in the Cabinet Office as Head of the G7/G20 Unit and UK Sherpa Assistant; and as Senior Trade Policy Advisor. Colette was seconded to Australia’s Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, as Director of Trade Policy. She contributed to the trade chapter of then-Prime Minister Cameron's Governance for Growth report for the G20 Cannes Summit. Prior to the Civil Service, Colette was a Parliamentary Researcher in the House of Commons.
