Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in New York from 24 to 26 September 2018 to attend the high-level week of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).


While in New York, the Secretary-General launched the Financing Climate Futures Synthesis report, delivered remarks at a High-level event on “Emerging Challenges and Shifting Paradigms: New Perspectives on International Co-operation for Development”,  participated in the pledging event of the Equal Pay International Coalition (EPIC) and attended the One Planet Summit follow-up meeting.


Mr. Angel Gurría also held bilateral meetings with several high level officials from the United Nations and Heads of States attending the UNGA.
