The paper looks at commodity booms and export performance in the context of sub-Saharan Africa, looking at the record from the perspective of export volumes rather than values.The authors argue that the average export performance during the period of high commodity prices was not as impressive as the previous period when African countries were confronted with very low prices.]]></description>
