Colombia: Unemployment and informality are too high

The Colombian labour market is dominated by informal workers, which is likely to lower productivity. On the positive side, employment levels have risen strongly alongside a rapidly growing labour force, however, many of the newly created jobs are of low productivity, barely generating enough income to provide a minimum standard of living.
