This document provides information on current or planned activities related to the safety of manufactured nanomaterials in OECD member countries.  This information was provided as written reports by delegations who participated in the 1st Meeting of OECD's Working Party on Manufactured Nanomaterials (WPMN).  There are also written reports on relevant current activities in other International Organisations such as the UNESCO and the ISO. Women in Scientific Careers: Unleashing the Potential

This publication presents the proceedings of an international workshop that assessed the underlying causes behind the low participation of women in scientific careers, especially at senior levels, and aimed to identify good practice policies to attract, recruit and retain women in scientific careers in public and private research.

Création d’un Groupe de Travail sur les Nanomatériaux Manufacturés, 14 septembre 2006

Le 14 septembre 2006, le Conseil de l'OCDE a donné son accord pour la création, au sein du Comité des Produits Chimiques, d’un Groupe de Travail sur les nanomatériaux manufacturés. Ce groupe traitera des aspects santé humaine et sécurité de l’environnement concernant les nanomatériaux manufacturés. La 1ère réunion de ce groupe aura lieu le 26-27 octobre à Londres. L’objectif principal de cette réunion est de se mettre d’accord sur un projet de programme de travail pour 2006-08 concernant la sécurité des nanomatériaux manufacturés, programme qui sera transmis au Comité des Produits Chimiques.
