The patterns of development may differ widely in urban and rural areas, for example, and some areas may lag behind even when the national economy is performing well.

Cet ouvrage fournit un cadre analytique unique permettant d’évaluer les accords pluriniveaux, qui est ensuite appliqué à cinq cas nationaux de politique de développement régional : l’Allemagne, le Canada, l’Espagne, la France et l’Italie.
