Learning outcomes are statements of what a learner is expected to know, understand and /or be able to demonstrate after completion of a process of learning. As preparatory work for the development of assessment frameworks for the AHELO feasibility study two reports on what students in economics and engineering should know nearing the end of their bachelor's degree were prepared by the Tuning association. International conference on Higher Education at a Time of Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities, 29-30 June

The Copenhagen Business School  in co-operation with OECD/ IMHE hosted a conference on the impact of the economic crisis on higher education institutions on 29-30 June. The conference debated questions of supply and demand, costs and income in higher education and analysed the role and responsibility of higher education institutions and how to transform these challenges into opportunities.

Higher education facilities conference

PEB organised a conference entitled “Sustainable Spaces and Places for Learning, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer” in collaboration with the Helsinki University of Technology, Finland. The event was held in May 2008 and identified global and local possibilities to provide quality environments for higher education. Both physical and virtual environments were addressed.
