In April 2002 the SEEPAD Secretariat opened its new permanent Secretariat in Belgrade, Yugoslavia. This follows the move from its temporary location in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

June 1999: The Regional Federation of Accountants and Auditors "Eurasia" establishes 5 Committees to develop reform initiatives in the NIS. The Committees are on Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, Legal Reform, Professional Education and Certification, and Membership and Ethics.
