Peer review is a tool widely used in international organisations and the OECD in particular. How can it be defined and what role does it play? What is the relationship between peer review and peer pressure and are they effective mechanisms for enhancing co-operation and stimulating change?

The OECD Convention

establishing the OECD was signed in Paris on 14 December 1960. The Convention is complemented by various protocols relating to the privileges and immunities of the Organisation and to the status of the European Community within the OECD.
