Launch of the Bilingual EECCA Environment Strategy Partnership Database

This new online tool was developed by the EAP Task Force secretariat to provide access to information on partnerships developed and implemented in countries of Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) since 2002 to facilitate and support the achievement of the objectives of the EECCA Environment Strategy. The database is available in English and Russian.

The Second Joint Meeting of the EU Water Initiative EECCA Working Group and the EAP Task Force Environmental Finance and Water Networks was held on the 26-28th of April 2006, in Almaty, Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Environment of Kazakhstan and of Central Asia Regional Environment Centre.

Some of the documents presented to the delegates of the Joint Meeting have now become available.

The 14th Meeting of the EAP Task Force, held on 10-11 February, 2003 in Tbilisi, Georgia, reviewed progress in implementing the Work Programme in CEE and EECCA, discussed the status of preparations for the Kiev "Environment for Europe" Ministerial Conference and the EAP Task Force's inputs to it.
