On the 8 - 9 November 2007, the Participants to the Aircraft Sector Understanding (ASU) met in Paris at the OECD for their first substantive discussions following the entry into force of the ASU last July.

The Participants to that Sector Understanding decided in 2005 to review its provisions and Brazil joined these discussions. A revised Sector Understanding on Export Credits for Civil Aircraft came into force on 1 July 2007

The OECD Council has adopted a revised Recommendation on Common Approaches on the Environment and Officially Supported Export Credits. This new Recommendation builds on experience gained in implementing the previous version, which is accordingly superseded, and provides for stronger environment-related requirements for export deals to qualify for export credit support from OECD governments' Export Credit Agencies.

Summary Report of the The OECD Working Party on Export Credits and Credit Guarantees which met on 24 and 25 (morning) April 2006. The main issues for discussion were officially supported export credits in the context of establishing dialogues with Non-Member Economies, measures to deter bribery and planning for the review of the OECD Recommendation on export credits and the environment.
