The UN Global Compact and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are the world’s foremost comprehensive, voluntary corporate responsibility initiatives. This report seeks to clarify the complementarities and distinctive contributions of these two initiatives by setting forth the initiatives’ major premises and objectives, scope and coverage, and implementation and follow-up mechanisms.
