Franco-Spanish economist Javier Santiso has been appointed Director of OECD’s Development Centre, two years after joining the Centre as its Deputy Director and Chief Development Economist.

The 2007 edition of the African Economic Outlook (AEO 2007) will be launched for the media on 14 May at the OECD Forum in Paris. The 2007 edition, covering 31 African countries, provides a special focus on water and sanitation.
