All students have the right to a quality learning environment, however in many countries, the educational process is compromised by poor physical infrastructure. Six international experts share experience in evaluating the quality of educational facilities in the journal of the OECD Programme on Educational Building PEB Exchange (February issue).

As a follow-up to recommendations from the two reviews on China which had an important impact on legislation and policy development in the sector, the OECD is aiming to strengthen research capacity on tertiary education finance and quality.
