OECD media briefing on corporate governance in Asia, Tuesday 13 May 2008, Hong Kong, China
Asian economies have done much during the past decade to improve their corporate governance and to raise investor protection and confidence in their markets. But gaps between rules and practices remain. Transparency and accountability of insiders as well as enforcement are challenges for all jurisdictions.
To discuss these and other issues facing Asian regulators, investors and corporations, the OECD will host a media briefing on Tuesday 13 May 2008 at 09.30 am at the Shangri-La hotel, Kowloon, Hong Kong, China.
