In his speech Mr. Akasaka presents the main conclusions and recommendations of the forthcoming OECD Environmental Performance Review of China. He highlights some of the 51 recommendations in the report. For example: how to reduce the gap in implementing environmental policies; how to better manage air, water, waste; how to better integrate environmental concerns in economic and social decisions, and how to strengthen environmental international co-operation.
