Agricultural Policies in China after WTO Accession - September 2002

Entry into the World Trade Organisation (WTO) has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges, propelling agricultural development in China into a new era. As China’s decision-makers continue to face the challenges of  raising farmers’ incomes and restructuring agriculture and the rural economy, the OECD and China jointly invited experts to reflect on how China can best manage its reform process under WTO integration.
