Presentation of "Gaining from Migration" to the High Level Conference on Legal Immigration
In his speech, Angel Gurría highlighted three key issues that countries must address to tackle challenges posed by migration. First, countries must give all members of migrants’ families access to the educational system. Second, receiving countries should align their migration policies with development co-operation policies. Third, migrant organisations should be given financial and technical support in a fair and transparent fashion.
