Hungary: survey on business obstacles and opportunities for clusters
Within the defined target area, the project has profoundly analysed the enterprises from the aspect of their role played in the economical cooperation and/or from the point of view of the extent they want and can- integrate into a potential frame of cooperation. When seeking for the possible means of eliminating regional and territorial imparities, we used the experiences of Italian Industrial Districts. We combined the focus group method with the empirical survey in three counties, content analysis, case studies etc.
As a result of the research, we have valuable pictures about the needs and expectations of enterprises in connection with their potential partner, we discovered some elementary traditions of the cooperation culture, having database about technical backgrounds, intentions and considerations on short term technological upgrade corresponding with the data published on the re-invested capital, number of existing personal computer both from the aspect of functional us as well as communication and cooperation.
Our research also justified that mainly enterprises with legal entity, operating for longer period of time, maintaining stable producer and customer contact, operating in or in the proximity of towns and running several kinds of business are such companies which have organisational and financial security and well grounded future vision as well.
