Challenges for Agricultural Research, OECD meeting to be held 6-8 April 2009
Faced with uncertain economic prospects, governments must find forward-looking solutions to secure food resources, conserve fuel and protect the environment. Scientists and policymakers will meet on 6-8 April in Prague to present and discuss the latest findings in research on animal cloning, food safety and pest control, soil degradation, global water supply and demand, and biofuels.
