MEI: Sources and Definitions provides a brief summary outline of current national practices for each country for which data are published in MEI. Information is published under four broad headings: definition, coverage, collection and calculation. This publication also outlines the conceptual basis of a range of methodological issues relevant to the presentation of statistics in MEI.
