Indicators of Product Market Regulation Homepage

The Indicators of Product Market Regulation Database is a comprehensive and internationally-comparable set of information about the state of regulation and market structures in OECD countries.

The OECD has developed a range of indicators of product market regulation at both the economy-wide and sectoral levels. All of these indicators measure the extent to which policy settings promote or inhibit competition in areas of the product market where competition is viable.  These indicators include the indicators of product market regulation (PMR),  cross-section sectoral indicators,  indicators of regulatory reform (REGREF and indicators of regulation impact (REGIMPACT).
