DAC Members' net ODA 1990 - 2004 and DAC Secretariat simulations of net ODA to 2006 and 2010
Following new aid commitments by the EU Council in May and at the Gleneagles G8 Summit in July, the DAC Secretariat have updated their simulation of future aid volume to 2010 to show that, if all these commitments are met, ODA could reach nearly USD 130 billion by 2010, with aid to Africa projected to double from USD 25 billion to USD 50 billion in the next 5 years. |
