In 1998, Members of the DAC Working Party on Aid Evaluation completed a review of their experience with the application of the DAC Principles for Evaluation of Development Assistance, which were adopted in 1991 by the DAC High Level Meeting. The objective of the review was to examine the implementation and use of the Principles, in order to assess their impact, usefulness and relevance and to make recommendations.
