Long abstract
Overview of Industrial Statistics at the OECD
The OECD publishes a range of statistics by economic activity. The most detailed activity data originate from annual business surveys carried out by Member countries. Annual data are also presented within a National Accounts framework (based on SNA93 definitions), though at more aggregate levels of activity. More timely short-term indicators, based on monthly or quarterly national surveys, are also collected and published. These sources are combined to produce a database (STAN) designed for broad analyses of industrial performance and structural change. |
