PISA 2000 covers the domains of reading, mathematical and scientific literacy not merely in terms of mastery of the school curriculum, but in terms of important knowledge and skills needed in adult life. In 2003, the examination of cross-curriculum competencies will continue to be a part of PISA through the assessment of a new domain of problem solving. |
