Atelier sur la cohérence des politiques dans l’application des technologies de l’information et des communications au service du développement

Les technologies de l’information et des communications (TIC) revêtent une importance primordiale pour réduire la pauvreté, améliorer l’accès à la santé et aux services d’éducation et créer de nouvelles sources de revenu et d’emploi pour les populations pauvres. Cet atelier, organisé conjointement par la Banque mondiale/infoDev et l’OCDE, a pour but de mettre en commun les meilleures pratiques de mise en cohérence des politiques en vue d’atteindre les objectifs de développement fixés par les ministres.

Workshop on network approaches to innovation

The objective of this workshop was to take stock of advances in social networks analysis and explore the possible use of this approach in OECD work, notably on innovation. It sought to present the network approach to economists and stimulate discussion with experts on the analytical potential of this approach for innovation analysis and measurement. Symposium on open innovation platforms (Tokyo, Japan)

While well documented in the US and Europe, open innovation strategies to mobilise knowledge and technology inside and outside firms are also being launched in Asia. To take stock of recent developments and share experience between western and Asian OECD countries, the Japanese Ministry of Economy and Industry (METI) is hosting this symposium. Workshop on Enhancing Research Performance through Evaluation and Priority Setting

OECD Workshop on “Assessing the Socio-Economic Impacts of Public R&D”, Paris

OECD countries are investing more and more in R&D and innovation. What are the impacts of these public investments on the economy and society? What tools do governments have to assess such impacts and how robust are they? How to measure the non-economic impacts?  This one-day workshop, under the auspices of the OECD’s Working Party on Innovation and Technology Policy (TIP), will bring together academic experts and policy makers to address these questions and identify good practices for impact assessment.

OECD-MOST conference and international business symposium, Beijing

This conference launched the synthesis report of the first OECD review on Chinese national innovation system (NIS). Based on the findings of the synthesis report, a high-level international business symposium took place back-to-back with the conference to address the issue of globalisation of R&D.

Joint OECD-Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs Conference on Globalisation and Open Innovation
