OECD-IMF Conference on Structural Reform in Europe

Further fundamental structural reforms in labour, product and financial markets are needed to boost jobs, productivity and prosperity in Europe. This one-day conference, jointly organised by the IMF and OECD, identifies priorities for further action and addresses political economy issues.The speakers include economic policy-makers, academics, entrepreneurs and union representatives. Angel Gurría, Secretary General of the OECD, and Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Managing Director of the IMF will give keynote addresses.

“Action artistique de la ville de Paris" and the Assemblée Nationale have invited the OECD to take part in a prestigious exhibition as part of the Journées du Patrimoine 16-17 September.  Photographs and historical documents, such as the original treaty of the Organisation, as well as the new "maquette" of the OECD headquarters, which is currently under renovation, will be on display through 28 October. The exhibition highlights all the monuments in Paris that are institutions of power with an emphasis on urban and citizenship issues.
