OECD / UNDP Arab GfD Programme: Ministerial Meeting in Amman

An Arab ministerial meeting on the proposed “Initiative on Good Governance for Development in Arab Countries” was convened at the invitation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. 13 ministers and other representatives from 16 Arab countries participated in the meeting in Amman, Jordan on 26 September. From the OECD side, Ambassador Olivieri, Mr. Sousa Rego, Secretary General of Portugal’s Council of Ministers, Deputy Secretary-General Hecklinger and other secretariat members participated in the meeting.
